SYHA Home Maintenance Team – Office Team Leader (maternity cover 12 months)

We currently own and manage over 6000 properties, support over 1600 vulnerable customers in care and supported housing projects and employ over 600 people.
We wish to appoint an experienced Office Team Leader to our Home Maintenance Team, which is a team of trade professionals that provide responsive and planned repair work for our customers.
The job will involve managing business and administrative functions. You will also manage a team of work planners and support staff.Your team will provide support services to our in house repairs and maintenance team ensuring that tight performance and financial controls remain within target.
You will ensure that our customers and stakeholders receive an efficient and cost effective service from the HMT while working to achieve high standards and deliver excellent customer care at all times. You will be working in an exciting fast paced environment that is frequently subject to change while delivering a value for money service.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator who is comfortable when dealing with members of the association on all levels. with the ability to provide a high standard of customer care. You will be highly organised and have the ability to plan and prioritise workloads effectively, allowing you to research and take forward new / innovative ways of working.

Experience of working in a Social Housing Environment is desirable but not essential

Starting Salary: Starting salary of £29, 822 per annum plus generous holidays’ entitlement and benefits.
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
