Business Growth Manager – 1 Year Maternity Cover (Job share - 22 hours per week)
A great opportunity has arisen within the Enterprise Team at South Yorkshire Housing Association (SYHA). We’re an enthusiastic bunch, committed to pioneering forward-thinking and ambitious new projects.In the last year the team has piloted an innovative home care service, supported our commercial estate agency, secured an equity stake in an established social enterprise and set up a co-production consultancy.If you enjoy problem-solving, investigating new business opportunities, collaboration and leadership then this role is for you.
You will be an analytic thinker with commercial acumen who thrives on a diverse and changing workload. You’ll be skilled at leading teams and projects and with a strong track record in collaboration.You’ll be able to communicate excellently, both verbally and in writing. You’ll have an eye for detail, be able to use your initiative and be passionate about growth and new business opportunities.
Based in the Enterprise Team, you will be working within a small team with wide-ranging connections throughout the organisation, supporting the team to develop new projects and services that support SYHA to grow strategically and promoting a culture of innovation and business development.
You will support the Enterprise Team by providing effective leadership and programme management, working alongside an experienced job share partner. The role also requires you to assess commercial viability and develop business plans for new ventures and work closely with the SYHA and SYHA Enterprises Boards, providing verbal and written reports on performance of the business activity.

Starting Salary: Starting salary of £45,444 (per annum, pro rata), plus generous holidays entitlement and benefits
Working Hours: Part time – 22 hours a week, temporary one-year contract.
