The Role:

We work with 36 people many of whom have experienced trauma which can exhibit in challenging behaviour. Our customers are likely to misuse substances and alcohol and have mental health issues with a history of homelessness and sometimes offending. This is a great time to join us as we develop our 911 service further.

As a Key Worker, your role will be varied and include working with your customers to maintain their accommodation, pay their bills, secure permanent housing, maintain their safety and that of those around them and attend appointments. You will also be involved in the day to day management of our homes.

This is a challenging but rewarding role if you are resilient, empathetic and have a genuine appreciation of people and their differences. You will need to be a positive person with a can-do attitude. You will also need to be competent in completing assessments and collecting data, using our IT systems. We work closely with other agencies as our customers work towards living independently and realising their potential. These include Substance Misuse Treatment Services, Probation Service, Community Mental Health Teams, Probation Service and Housing Providers.

Starting Salary: Starting salary of £18,265 plus excellent benefits and generous holiday entitlement

Working Hours: 37 hours a week working on a rota basis of 3 x 12 hour shifts on average. 7am to 7pm including weekends and bank holidays.
