Temporary Position (6 months) – Full Time (37 hours per week)

About our Project

Based in Broomhall, Sheffield the 911 Project is a supported housing project, supporting up to 36 people experiencing multiple exclusion homelessness. Our customers may have several different support needs which can include mental health, drug and alcohol addictions, developmental issues, involvement in the Criminal Justice system and problems finding and maintaining housing. Many of our customers have experienced exclusion and isolation from other services. We work in a strengths-based way, empowering customers to identify and achieve their goals and hopes for the future.

The role

We’re looking for an exceptionally organised and sociable person to carry out cleaning duties at the 911 Project in our 36-bedroom supported housing accommodation and several dispersed properties in the surrounding area.

You will need to be available for 37 hours each week, this will be flexible working.

You will carry out general cleaning duties and need a good understanding of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).

We’re looking for someone who is friendly and approachable, ideally with some experience of working with vulnerable people with multiple needs and behaviour that may challenge, as you will have contact with our customers.

Salary Scale: Starting salary of £16,842 pro rata, plus generous holiday entitlement and excellent benefits

Working Hours: Full time, 37 Hours per week, flexible working including weekends.
